WELCOME TO THE SITE OF

DR. PAT CARRUTH

dr_pat_carruth_portraitSpending most of my childhood  in Geneva, Switzerland, I had the opportunity to travel  extensively, have friends from many different countries and cultures and learn two foreign languages (Spanish and French). I returned to the United States for college and moved to Colorado a couple of years after completing my undergraduate studies. I have always been drawn to nature, especially the mountains, and outdoor activities , such as skiing, hiking, cycling. Needless to say when I arrived in Colorado, I felt like I had come home.

My first career was teaching high school French and Spanish. I enjoyed the involvement with students, but decided to pursue graduate studies in counseling. After an extended  “stay-at-home mom sabbatical,” I returned to graduate school and  completed my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work and my Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver.
